This old chart gives the average normal heights and weights for infants and toddlers, ranging from 1 – 24 months of age. A normal child should meet the average healthy measurement of height, weight and head circumference. This graphic help doctors determine the pattern of growth of a child during those times.     People back then didn’t know that an abnormally short height in childhood happens if there is not enough growth hormone in the body.
