Using 3D Printing and Innovative Materials for House Construction

Modern construction methods are reducing the time, costs, waste, injuries and environmental impact of building an entire house. These architectural technology involves the use of robots, 3d printing and other innovative materials. Concrete material are now being used to print foundations and walls that is stronger than usual concrete in a method called Contour Crafting. New materials are now applied on constructing smart buildings – from using micro algae to generate renewable energy to transparent aluminium – to make them efficient and more sustainable.
