How Computer Memory Works?
Just like we have a long and short term memory, our computer also has two kinds of memory; permanent memory like the hard-disk and short term memory called Random Access Memory (RAM). As the name suggests the short term memory can be accessed randomly by several applications. The more RAM your PC has, the better it is during multitasking, possessing more programs at the same time.
