The Story of Stratocaster Electric Guitar

Leo Fender’s Stratocaster is probably the greatest instrument icon in the world of guitar. The introduction of the Stratocaster—an upgrade to the world’s first solid-body electric guitar, Telecaster—revolutionize the popular music in 1954. Since that time it has been played by famous musicians from Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton to Bob Dylan and other Strat guitarists. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Fender Strat, SCMP published this awesome illustration that retells the story of the Stratocaster electric guitar.
