Mercedes-Benz Autonomous Bus for Urban Public Transport

Daimler introduced its development of Mercedes-Benz Future Bus for urban public transport. The futuristic city bus is integrated with CityPilot technology that is based on the autonomous driving function of Mercedes’s Actros truck with Highway Pilot revealed two years ago. With the help of ten cameras, both short and long range radars along with GPS – this self-driving bus can read traffic lights, communicate to them and maneuver through junctions.
