The Stowage of the British slave ship “Brooks” is a diagram designed to solve the overcrowding of slaves on the 18th-century cargo vessel. It exhibit the plan and sections the Brooks ship to minimize the deaths of slaves. This illustration become the eye-opening account of the inhumanity of the Atlantic slave trade.

The owners of those slave ships did their best to carry as many enslaved people as they can to maximize profit.
Between 1492 and 1870, around 11 million black slaves were transported from Africa to Americas to work on plantations, mines or a servant of a white family.
