The beautiful Betta fish has captured the hearts of many freshwater aquarium keepers because of its brightly colored and fairy fined long fins. Bettas are also called the Siamese fighting fish because they will nip and bite each other to exhaustion and even death. The most common types of Betta fish are Plakat, Crowntail, Half Moon, Rosetail, Double Tail and Combtail.
