Hoverboard Safety Tips to Prevent Fire and Injuries

Hoverboard, hands-free segway, self-balancing wheel, or whatever you want call it, have been increasingly popular among young adults. This personal transportation gizmo is appearing everywhere from the public streets, to the airport, to social media pages, to the list of holiday gift. But the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced, just few month ago, that all commercial hoverboards are not safe for consumers use. They warned not to use any electric transporting devices that does not pass the UL’s electrical safety requirements. Here’s some interesting facts about hoverboards and safety tips to avoid fire and injuries.

    I think the only hoverboards that spontaneously catching fire are the Chinese knock offs.
