Remembering the Pearl Harbor Attack of 1941

Dec 7 of every year is National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, as President Barack Obama declared in 2014, to remember the day the Japanese bombers attacked the naval base of United States at Pearl Harbor in 1941. More than 2,300 Americans were killed and 1,000 more were injured during the surprised raid that triggered the US to declare war against the Japanese and become part of World War II.
