The History of Solar Power
The important role that our sun plays in all living things on Earth has been celebrated by all civilization of human history. Contrary to what people may believe, humans have been harnessing the power of solar energy since Neolithic Age in 4000 BC. The Chinese and Greeks develop a concave mirror that concentrate sun rays to object to produce flame for cooking and soldering. They built their houses in a solar reflexive way and used glass pieces to capture sunlight to keep themselves warm. This timeline details the history of solar power.
