When to Use JPEG, PNG and GIF File Format

The three commonly adapted image file formats on the internet are Joint Photographic Experts Group which saved as .jpeg or .jpg, Portable Network Graphics which saved as .png and Graphics Interchange Format which saved as .gif. There are some advantages and disadvantages on each graphics and picking the right file type can give better picture quality. Each digital format also differ in size, compression and transparency.
